Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect is an online training that will equip you with the knowledge to identify abuse and neglect, spot potential child abusers in schools, understand when and where abuse is most likely to occur in a school and know the four steps you can take to keep students safe. You will also learn how to comply with policies to protect students from abuse and to protect yourself from false allegations of abuse.
You will also understand your responsibilities for reporting abuse or neglect and what to do after you report allegations. The course will present your rights in terms of confidentiality, immunity, and protection against retaliation as well as consequences if you knowingly fail to report.
